This book, "Where Treetops Glisten", was delightful. It is three different stories of heartwarming courage and Christmas romance during World War II written by three different authors who intertwine the characters and stories together. I love how authors Cara Putman, Sarah Sundin, and Tricia Goyer used Christmas songs to tell the stories of the Turner family. Each story features a different member of the family living life during World War II, their struggles, joys and faith in God. This is one of those books that you look forward to reading and wish you weren't at the end. It reminds you to always have hope, to never quit praying, to serve others, and to keep a song in your heart. The mystery of romance is evident throughout the book along with a strong family unit that it committed to each other through the ups and downs of life.
A great book to read for the Christmas season.
This book was a gift from Waterbrook Press for sharing my review with you.
